Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how personal data is handled when operating ELO Rumble (“the website", “the game") and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

E-mail: qoyyopgames@gmail.com
See the Legal Notice for further details.
2. Hosting and server log files
The website runs on servers in Germany (IONOS SE, Germany). When you access the site, your browser transmits technically necessary data that may be processed in server log files:
- IP address (shortened or only processed temporarily)
- date and time of access
- the address/file requested, amount of data transferred
- browser type and version, operating system
This processing serves the technical provision, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Gameplay: profile and device identifier
Playing requires no registration and no e-mail address. To provide the game we process:
- Self-chosen display name – shown to other players in the session. Please do not enter real names or sensitive data here.
- Random device identifier – an anonymous ID generated and stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so your profile can be associated with your device.
- Game progress – Elo rating, coins, streak, unlocked cosmetics and similar values, linked to the device identifier and stored on our server.
The legal basis is the provision of the game function you requested (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). A personal reference only arises insofar as the anonymous identifier can be attributed to you at all.
4. Local storage
For gameplay, the website stores data locally in your browser (e.g. device identifier, display name, local high scores). This data remains on your device and can be deleted by you at any time via your browser settings.
5. Voice chat and live data (WebRTC)
Online sessions offer a voice chat. Transmission takes place, where possible, directly between players (peer-to-peer via WebRTC) and is encrypted. For technical reasons, participating devices may exchange their IP addresses with each other.
If no direct connection can be established, the connection is bridged via a relay server (TURN) operated by us. Voice data is merely passed through; conversations are neither recorded nor permanently stored. You can mute your microphone at any time. The legal basis is the provision of the game function (Art. 6 (1) (b)/(f) GDPR).
6. Advertising: Google AdSense
To fund this free offering, the website uses Google AdSense, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google"). Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure delivery and – depending on your consent – personalise advertising. Data (including your IP address and information about your device) may be transmitted to Google and processed in third countries (e.g. the USA).
Processing for advertising purposes only takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you give or decline via the consent dialog shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the privacy settings.
Further information on Google's data processing and your choices: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
7. Consent management
For consent-requiring cookies and advertising we use Google's certified consent solution (a Consent Management Platform under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework, provided via Google "Privacy & messaging"). Without your consent, no non-essential cookies are set and no personalised advertising is delivered. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future via the "privacy settings" link in the app.
8. Disclosure of data
Your data is only disclosed where necessary to provide the service (e.g. to our hosting provider as a processor) or where you have consented (e.g. Google AdSense). We do not sell data.
9. Storage period
Profile and game data are stored for as long as your profile is actively used. Server log files are kept only briefly and then deleted. On request, we delete your profile (see below).
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise these rights, an informal message to qoyyopgames@gmail.com is sufficient. As profiles are only linked via an anonymous device identifier, we may need that identifier to locate your data.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
11. Changes to this policy
We update this privacy policy when website features or the legal situation change. The current version published here always applies.
